Relocating to Dubai in 2008, Mark has been operating across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, UK and North America regions at Director, SVP and Group level HR positions within FTSE and Top 100 MNCs. Mark has a strong cross-section of industry experience from Retail, FMCG, Health, Oil & Energy, Aviation and Security; the last ten years within Emirates Group, Tercel Oilfields and G4S with the responsibility of a 200,000 head-count region.
Mark has always had a highly commercial focus on sustainable growth of organisations. He is a proven leader, trusted adviser, coach and HR entrepreneur; a professional who is well placed with businesses in a local, regional and global marketplace. Mark has led significant organisational transformations, change cycles, mergers and acquisitions and as an outcome, built high performing HR and leadership teams, from greenfield through to multi-regional matrix operations.
With a keen focus on developing future and aspiring leaders, Mark contributes his personal time to mentoring the ‘leaders of tomorrow’. Also, is a firm believer in supporting education and literacy, as an instrumental driver to changing the environment of those less fortunate than others.
Mark actively participates as a keynote speaker, panelist and contributor to global think-tanks on topics such as, business transformation, change management, culture engagement, talent capability, leadership, organizational design, learning frameworks and employee motivation. Mark holds qualifications in Human Resources, Learning & Development and Strategy; is a chartered member of the U.K CIPD (HR) and the Australian HR Institute, additionally skilled in Psychometric Assessment & Delivery and Emotional Intelligence.
