Kevin Kacere



Kevin Kacere was born and raised in Iowa.  He received his BA and MBA from the University of Iowa Business School. Kacere was President and CEO of Insta-Pro International, a feed and food processing equipment manufacturer from 2008-2021.  He also was a member on the Insta-Pro holding company board of Heartland Agri Partners, LLC since 2008, when the acquisition of Insta-Pro took place. In 2017 Insta-Pro was named Small Business of The Year for Central Iowa by Des Moines Area Community College.  

Prior to this, he worked in various marketing and general management roles for manufacturing companies.  His longest tenure was in the home appliance industry working for Amana Appliances and Maytag Corporation for 17 years.  His last role at Maytag was VP and GM of the Amana Business Unit. Additional roles at Maytag were VP Product Development and Design, and VP Refrigeration Business.  During this time, he led the turnaround of the Company’s refrigerator segment, driving innovation impacting the entire home appliance industry. 

He has been a member of the Rotary Club of Des Moines since 2010 and is currently on the Board of Directors of the organization as Treasurer.  In 2018, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross appointed Kacere to the President’s Advisory Council for Doing Business in Africa where he advised Secretary Ross and President Trump on how to improve business opportunities in Africa for U.S. companies.  In addition, he is currently on the Board of Directors for Goodwill of Central Iowa. He is a past member of the University of Iowa Marketing Advisory Council.
