David Foster is a strategic planning advisor, project leader, and innovation consultant who helps organizations clarify direction, align teams, and move from ideas to actionable plans. He brings experience across sectors, including libraries, manufacturing, insurance, financial services, associations, government, nonprofits, higher education, and for-profit organizations.
As a Senior Consultant at Bâton Global, David helps clients develop data-driven strategic plans that are flexible, practical, and responsive to a changing environment. His work includes client leadership, project management, stakeholder engagement, and helping organizations make operational and cultural adjustments that strengthen performance.
David’s background spans strategic planning, organizational development, innovation, new product development, business planning, and operational improvement.
Before joining Bâton Global, David held senior leadership roles with Trans-Lux Corporation and Fair-Play Scoreboards, where he led engineering, new product development, and quality assurance for video displays, LED signage, and scoreboard products. Earlier in his career, he worked at The Boeing Company, where he supported major aircraft programs as a propulsion and reliability engineer and had a key role in the certification of the 767 and 777 for extended-range overwater operations.
David earned an MBA in Managerial and Organizational Leadership from City University in Seattle and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
