Afshin works with colleges, universities, and EdTech companies to analyze student persistence, evaluate academic practices, and develop strategies that align programs with institutional priorities. He translates complex findings into practical recommendations that support student outcomes and long-term performance.
Afshin’s experience spans strategic enrollment management, online education, academic operations, benchmarking, curriculum alignment, and higher education analytics. He has advised universities and EdTech firms on initiatives designed to strengthen academic programs, improve operating models, and support sustainable institutional improvement.
He has held senior leadership roles supporting enrollment, retention, instructional services, student onboarding, and program improvement. His work has included helping institutions align student support practices and program offerings with long-term enrollment and student success goals.
Afshin earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D., Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineeringfrom Iowa State University.
