Intervention

Bâton Global (B|G) partnered with the bank to prioritize needs across the organization and develop a multi-year roadmap to transform their organization. The approach utilized API-driven integration and dedicated data scientist analytic support.

Data-driven banks are able to leverage data to generate greater customer insights, improve customer experience, and increased revenue. Millions of dollars in cost savings are projected to be realized and the ROI on the first deliverable is confirmed at over 200%.

The scope of this project includes four main areas of activity:

Insight

B|G delivered a shared understanding of the challenges the company was facing tin becoming a leading digital bank:

  • 45 employees, including executives, relationship managers, and IT and Operations participated in stakeholder interviews.
  • Over 70 employees from all levels of the bank participated in customer journey mapping.
  • Transformation best practices of industry leading institutions were presented to the bank.
  • Key findings were presented and endorsed by the leadership team.

Innovation

B|G worked closely with the leaders at the bank to develop a 36-month roadmap to digital transformation:

  • The roadmap outlined individual projects that would improve the collection and management of data, improve the technological architecture used to deliver data to users, and create virtual training for bank team members to better utilize data.

Integration

B|G led the execution of the roadmap and ensured proper alignment of organization initiatives:

  • B|G began necessary API and application development work to integrate key applications such as their CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Data scientists partnered with departments across the bank to deliver predictive analytics.
  • Training courses were developed to promote proper usage of key software systems.
  • Regular workshops with business leaders were scheduled to ensure unit level business objectives aligned to the transformation roadmap.
