Molly retired early from a career in association management to help businesses, associations, and executives strengthen their competitive advantage and make a difference in the world.
For nearly 30-years, Molly led national and state associations as an executive director, strategist, member advocate, and events professional. For twenty-four of those years, she also served president of an accredited association management company, a professional services firm specializing in organizational transformation and management of trade and professional associations. She owned the corporation for 12-years. Molly sold her company in 2011 and continued as president, leading business development and client retention, and empowering high-functioning teams.
A two-time Iowa State University graduate, Molly earned her M.S. in Professional Studies/Higher Education Administration after receiving her B.A. in Commercial Recreation/Leisure Studies. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
Throughout her career, Molly has been an active leader in industry-related associations. She has been elected as board officer, traveled internationally, and is a frequent conference speaker. Recognitions include Catch Des Moines’ National Events Champion, Central Iowa - Forty Under Forty, and the National Rural Economic Developers Association Award.
But what brings her more joy than titles and awards, is her faith, servant leadership with her husband Dan in their ministry, her kids and three grandkids, and an appreciation of the people who impact each chapter in her life’s journey. Onward and upward!
